The two have not really spoken since, with the children even taking Christine's side. Now, Christine has offered more insight into where things went wrong.

TLC viewers watched on Sunday as Christine opened up about her toxic marriage to Kody. According to the third wife, her relationship with Kody drastically changed when she started to stand up for herself. Since the show started airing, Sister Wives viewers have watched each wife say yes to Kody, but the dynamic changed when Christine, in particular, started saying no. Christine revealed she was always expected to be positive, saying whatever Kody needed to hear. Christine went on to say she didn't mind being the hype wife until "it wasn't. All of a sudden, I just realized I couldn't anymore."
The TLC personality went on to explain that the turning point for her was when her father asked if she ever said no to Kody. Naturally, Kody didn't like the new, outspoken Christine. Sadly, Kody started to withdraw
