The company also revealed more details about its upcoming hectic dino shooter, Exoprimal. During the six-minute segment and an extended gameplay preview released a couple of days after, Exoprimal's gameplay and story was a lot more fleshed out.
The unique gameplay of Exoprimal features a 5v5 scenario where teams must work together to complete objectives while facing hordes of ravenous dinosaurs that seem to appear out of nowhere. In the latest trailer, gamers find out that it isn't a random occurrence, but a ploy by an all-powerful, cruel artificial intelligence named Leviathan, which was created by the mysterious company Albion.
Exoprimal Gives Off Strong Anthem Vibes
Alongside the announcement of two new Exoprimal exosuits, Capcom also revealed the 'villain' of the game. Leviathan is the name of the artificial intelligence that seems to be in-charge of a research facility owned by its creator, Albion. Through the A.I.'s selection process, the player characters were 'chosen' by Leviathan to undergo a series of experiments, of which details still remain fuzzy. They seem to have been kidnapped against their will and brought to a remote area named Bikitoa Island where the research facility is located.
