Starting with the quest and progression fixes, developers resolved the bug that prevented some players from interacting with the NPC Kotallo during the main story quest, “The Broken Sky.” The studio also fixed a problem with objectives not updating during Forbidden West’s “The Wings Of The Ten” main quest. The patch additionally resolved progression issues with the side quests “Thirst for the Hunt” and “Boom or Bust.” The cutscene for the quest “What Was Lost” also now plays correctly, and players should no longer encounter a problem where quest enemies spawn in inaccessible locations. Furthermore, the update also resolves several bugs with Horizon Forbidden West’s various world activities.
Moving on, the majority of the gameplay fixes and adjustments relate to Horizon Forbidden West’s skills, armor, and weapons. The developers resolved several mistakes and glitches with Legendary Weapons, including multiple problems with the Death-Seeker’s Shadow bow and Shredder gauntlets. The patch also addressed animation glitches, incorrect icons and tooltips, mistakes in tutorials, and certain items and upgrades having wrong stat calculations.
