Warning! SPOILERS for Halo episode 4.
Due to Paramount's live-action Halo series and its new continuity apart from the games, a character from Master Chief's past in the games' storyline has been erased. In Halo episode 4, Master Chief travels to his homeworld of Eridanus II, hoping to learn more about the fragmented memories he unlocked after activating the Forerunner artifact he and Silver Team discovered on Madrigal. With help from Cortana, the home John grew up in with his parents is digitally reconstructed, allowing John to better recall his memories. This includes his explorations in a cave with his dog Ellie.
