The voice actor who played Guybrush Threepwood in the various Monkey Island games, Dominic Armato, recently opened up about his return to the games industry, indicating an interest in union work. Armato took part in the production of several games between 1997 and 2002 including Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, and The Curse of Monkey Island before moving into a journalism career.
Armato reprised his role as Guybrush Threepwood in 2009 and 2010 for Tales of Monkey Island and Monkey Island 2: LeChuck’s Revenge, but remained largely outside of the games industry until Return to Monkey Island, released earlier this year. The voice actor is currently working on a game called Lucy Dreaming from developer Tall Story.
