We Get In and Out, It’s Easy!
There are eight different Heists for GTA accounts owners can play, some of which are far more fun and rewarding than others. Heists vary in player requirements, setup costs, number of setup missions, and possible takes, so it's not worth doing everything multiple times. Here are all of GTA’s heists, ranked from best to worst, that you could do to earn a lot of money.
How Many Heists Are There?
GTA Online has eight raids, including the Cayo Perico raid, but they all offer different levels of difficulty, intensity, entertainment value, and rewards. Some heists have high take potential but are more difficult to complete or require many setup and setup missions, like the Doomsday Heist. Other scenarios, such as Series A funding, would bore players after one or two playthroughs. The best heist in GTA 5 Online mode has a manageable difficulty and offers players decent cash rewards with an exciting storyline or ending.
Best GTA Online Heists: Ranked
#8 - "Series A Funding" Is GTA Online's Worst Heist.
The Series A Fund Heist requires four players and five preparatory missions to complete before the finale. The setup missions involve stealing drugs and vehicles so you can sell them to new buyers for big profits. The biggest draw of the Series A Funding Heist is the inclusion of Grand Theft Auto 5's Trevor. In the finale, players must guard their loot and take it to a secluded house on the other side of the map. With a setup cost of $40,400, the most likely hard mode takeover is $505,000, split between four players.
The Series A fundraising finale doesn't give you the same satisfaction as successfully breaking into and robbing a bank or stopping a global catastrophe. Payouts are relatively low, especially compared to some of the newer heists, and have to be shared with three other players. While not difficult, the Series A Funding raid is GTA Online's worst raid due to its low payout and disappointing finale.
#7 - GTA Online's Fleeca Job Is A Quick & Easy Heist
The Fleeca Job is the first heist for new players in GTA Online, with only two preparatory missions to complete before the finale. The heist requires two players and a maximum payout of $143,750 for completing the hard mode. The first setup mission requires players to drive to the bank to check the safety and start planning. The finale consists of robbing a bank with Drill and escaping from the police by driving the car obtained in the second setup mission. It also pays the least.
With minimal setup required, the finale is a straightforward bank robbery that leads to a dangerous chase. Although the missions are relatively easy and the payouts are low, Fleeca's work is still exciting for new players and showcases the basics of heist missions in GTA Online and how to beat them.
#6 - The Humane Labs Raid Is Unbalanced In GTA Online
The third original GTA Online Raid is the Humane Lab Raid, which costs $54,000 to set up and requires a team of four players. The main objective is to infiltrate a research facility and search for chemical weapons. There are five setup missions leading up to the finale. In this final mission of this GTA Heist, two players infiltrate the Humanitarian Lab while the other two provide aerial support. In Hard Mode, players receive a portion of the $675,000 payout after the files are retrieved and delivered.
The Humane Labs Raid is mostly fun for the team infiltrating the facility. Suppressing and fending off a few security helicopters to get to the file before attempting a daring underwater escape is cathartic, to say the least. Humane Labs Raid has its second-highest take potential from the five raids in the original GTA Online, but it's no fun for anyone stuck in an air support team.
#5 - GTA Online's Prison Break Isn't Worth Replaying
The Prison Break Heist has four setup missions and one finale. A team of four is required, but the party is split into two teams for some missions. Like Humane Labs Raid, teams will see more action, but Prison Break is a little more balanced. After putting a detailed breakout and escape plan into action, the robbery team must retrieve the target from the maximum security prison walls and escape while defending it. The Prison Break finale payout is $500,000 on hard mode, with a setup cost of $40,000.
Prison Break is the second heist to be added to GTA Online and is a giant leap from the low security bank robberies. Prison Break isn't the hardest or best heist in GTA 5, but it does offer more of a challenge than Fleeca's job, as it needs four players for this raid instead of two. Individual payouts are not much higher than the first raid. Prize money aside, Prison Break offers an intense first experience with an exciting storyline. However, there is little reason to play the Prison Break Heist again after completing it the first time.
#4 - Pacific Standard Is The Perfect Bank Heist In GTA Online
With an earnings potential of up to $1,250,000 in Hard Mode, the Pacific Standard Heist offers players the highest cash reward of any original Heist. However, it's also one of the few missions where players can take damage and lose money during the finale. This heist requires four players and five setups to complete missions before the bank is robbed.
The Pacific Standard robbery initially costs $500,000. Pacific Standard is the premier Heist featured in the original GTA Online Heist Update. While Fleeca's job allowed players to practice small bank heists, Pacific Standard's robbery goes from hacking to cleaning big safes. Lester's sophisticated escape routes are put to the test. Although you risk losing money, this raid offers higher payouts than the previous four raids and is arguably the most satisfying to complete.
#3 - GTA Online's Doomsday Heist Has Diversified Content
Doomsday Raid is GTA Online's longest and most challenging series of missions, with three finales, each with different setup costs and potential takes.
All three Doomsday raids at least need two players, but it's much easier with four. The Doomsday Finals is one of the most challenging Heist missions, with payouts for each mission relatively low compared to potential takes on Diamond Casino and Cayo Perico. Doomsday Heist features a variety of setup missions with different vehicles, making it the most balanced of all heists available today. Replaying Doomsday missions isn't worth it if you want to make money, but saving the world is a fun and unique experience. Doomsday isn't GTA 5's best heist, but it has the most diverse set of missions.
#2 - The Cayo Perico Heist In GTA Online Has Many Outcomes
GTA Online's Cayo Perico Heist is all about reaching into a glass case and trying to steal a diamond while someone else is on guard. GTA Online's Cayo Perico Heist takes place in an entirely new location and must be completed by one person. In fact, it is the only heist where you can play alone.
All preparatory missions and finales can be done in private sessions. Since there are many possible primary and secondary objectives, the potential pickups will differ each time. However, even with the best possible combination of items to collect, Cayo Perico's Heist only has the second-highest payout.
#1 - The Diamond Casino Is GTA 5's Best Heist
The best heist in GTA 5 is, without a doubt, the Diamond Casino & Resort. The Diamond Casino Heist pickup depends on the amount of damage taken during the escape and the contents of the safe. Vault contents can be cash, gold, or artwork, and diamonds are found during limited-time events. There are many different types of Diamond Casino Heist to choose from, depending on the approach players want to use.
Replaying Diamond Casino missions in GTA Online is even more fun, with the option to change how heists are executed. It only needs two players for the Diamond Casino Heist, but one owns the arcade, and all preparations for the mission must be completed in public sessions. Completing missions in public sessions can be frustrating, but it's worth it, primarily when split between two players. The variety of approaches and high odds make Diamond Casino the best heist available in GTA Online.
What is GTA Online?
Developed alongside a single-player mode, Grand Theft Auto Online was conceived as a standalone game in an ever-evolving world. The game experienced extensive technical issues upon release, including unplayable missions and missing character data, which infuriated GTA account owners. It was criticized for its disorientation and repetitive missions and initially polarized reviewers, with particular praise for its scale and straightforward gameplay. Nevertheless, GTA Online won two awards at the end of the year from several gaming publications, from "Biggest Disappointment" to "Best Multiplayer." The game receives frequent free updates that continue to expand game modes and content. It improved critical reception. Critics particularly well received the 2015 Heist Update.
