Whether picking up the Pixel 6a or not, there's another Google product that's now available for pre-order and worth checking out — the Pixel Buds Pro. Announced alongside the Pixel 6a at Google I/O, the new Pixel earbuds work with a variety of different smartphones, making them a good option whether using a Pixel phone or any other Android phone.
The Pixel Buds Pro are Google's third pair of truly wireless earbuds following the release of the Pixel Buds A and the original Pixel Buds. They are also positioned as Google's answer to premium earbuds from its competitors such as Apple's AirPods Pro, Samsung's Galaxy Buds Pro, and even Sony's more affordable earbuds, the LinkBuds S.

The Pixel Buds Pro are Google's most expensive earbuds to date. For $199 (or $33.33 per month), they can be pre-ordered from the Google Store in the US. They are also available to order in Canada for CA$259, in Ireland, France, and Germany for €219, and in the UK for £179. The ability to pre-order also extends to Australia where they are priced at A$299 and Japan where they sell for¥23,800.
The Pixel Buds Pro are available in Coral, Fog, Charcoal, and Lemongrass colors. However, these colors only apply to the outer part of the earbuds and they all come in the same white carrying case. The Pixel Buds Pro connect via Bluetooth 5.0 and are compatible with all Bluetooth 4.0+ devices including those running iOS and Windows. As to be expected, features like hands-free 'Hey Google' and real-time translation are only available on Android.
