A new Ghostwire: Tokyovideoshowcaseand deep divehas given fans another look at its horror-fuelled gameplay and open world design filled with terrifying enemies. Ghostwire: Tokyo impressed when revealed in 2019, and expectant players have been patiently waiting for its launch ever since. The title has high expectations as it comes from Tango Gameworks, the developer of 2014's The Evil Within and its 2017 sequel.
Ghostwire: Tokyo takes place in a supernatural version of Tokyo, Japan, which is overrun with otherworldly entities known as the Visitors. Followers of the evil Hannya, the Visitors' spooky aesthetic set against the realistic city location promises a new kind of horror for players who dare to explore its depths. With an emphasis on exploration and combat, and with plenty of sidequests, there's lots of secrets for players to uncover as they master elemental Ethereal Weaving in order to defeat Hannya and his supporters. As revealed in the showcase's YouTube description before the live event, Ghostwire: Tokyo will release on March 25.

Tango Gameworks and PlayStation's latest deep dive into the impressive Ghostwire: Tokyo offers a new look at its gameplay and world, setting the scene for what players can expect when it launches in March. Captured on PS5, the action-packed gameplay footage teases the many gruesome enemies users will encounter — as well as the elemental powers and mystical tools the player has at their disposal. The deep dive shows a haunting yet thrilling playground for horror fans to get lost in, with vertical exploration throughout the city, and serves to only drive excitement for the game's release.
