Genshin Impact’s Serenitea Pot allows players to build their own homes inside a pocket dimension contained within a teapot kept in the player's inventory. Gamers can create a small world, place furniture and decorations, and even craft entire structures within the teapot's confines. Now, Genshin Impact has announced an upcoming maintenance period specifically for the Serenitea Pot's item placement function.
The Serenitea Pot has been warmly received overall, although many players are still very aware of its limitations and the occasional bug. Several gamers have reported issues with item placement, for better or for worse. With this in mind, it may not be a surprise that the system is getting some maintenance.

In a blog post hosted on HoYoLAB, miHoYo announced that the Serenitea Pot's placement menu will be undergoing maintenance at the same time as Genshin Impact Version 2.6 drops on March 30, 2022. During the maintenance period, players will not be able to access the placement menu, though it seems they will still be able to enter the Serenitea Pot. The maintenance will begin as soon as the update drops, presumably so that players will be busy exploring the new content while the placement menu is down.
It's unclear how long the maintenance period will last, but miHoYo will inform gamers via in-game notice and community channels when the maintenance is complete. Apparently, all players who have reached Adventure Rank 5 and above before 03/30/2022 at 06:00 (UTC+8) will be eligible for compensation.
