Genshin Impact's list of Boss enemies continues to grow, with a new Electro Regisvine Boss rumored to be arriving soon. Regisvines are giant Whopperflower Bosses in Genshin Impact, attuned to one of Genshin Impact's elements. Currently, two Regisvines can be found in Teyvat: the Pyro Regisvine residing in Liyue and the Cryo Regisvine located in Mondstadt. Additionally, the Resurgent Cryo Regisvine appeared for a limited-time Event Boss during The Chalk Prince and the Dragon in Genshin Impact version 1.2.
Genshin Impact continues to grow with every update, adding new playable characters as well as enemies on a regular basis. Genshin Impact's typical six-week release schedule was recently impacted by pandemic-related lockdowns in China, delaying the game's 2.7 update from its initially planned May 11 release date. After a short delay and weekly compensation to Genshin Impact players, the highly-anticipated 2.7 update was released on May 31, breaking Genshin Impact sales records on launch day.

According to reputable Genshin Impact leaker Project Celestia, the Electro Regisvine appeared in game data by mistake, suggesting that its release is arriving soon. However, Project Celestia advised that the Electro Regisvine won't be arriving in version 2.8, suggesting that the new Boss will arrive no earlier than version 3.0. Genshin Impact likely won't be getting a version 2.9, but will instead jump from version 2.8 to 3.0, the update expected to bring with it the arrival of Dendro region Sumeru to Genshin Impact.
