Despite getting big updates every six weeks, Genshin Impact 3.0 will be the next major content patch coming to the free-to-play RPG. The Version 2.6 update will be arriving at the end of March, but a number of leaks have pointed to at least two more patches arriving as part of the Inazuma run. As with any leaks and rumors, accuracy is up for debate. So, when should players expect to see a Genshin Impact 3.0 release date?
Genshin Impact Version 2.6 will introduce new events, a new playable character in Kamisato Ayato, and take Travelers into The Chasm. The usual new weapons and Artifacts will also be added in. However, many fans are looking ahead to the next update, and it's possible Genshin Impact 3.0 could be coming sooner than previously thought.

The next update is adding the «Spices of the West» event, where a character from Sumeru will task players with cooking-related challenges. Sumeru is the new nation expected for Genshin Impact 3.0, and despite NPCs from the nation being in the game already, this event could be an early tease for Sumeru and what's in store for Travelers when the 3.0 update releases. This is similar to how Inazuma characters were teased prior to Version 2.0's release, and it could also be hinting at Genshin Impact 3.0's release date coming soon.
