PlayStation has officially confirmed the lineup of free games coming to PlayStation Plus in the first month of 2023 PS Plus subscription offers 3 free games every month. Although many months during 2022 had disappointing free games, Sony did try to make amends by rolling out games such as Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Biomutant and more in December. Playstation also offers gaming subscription services in the form of Playstation Plus. Recently, the company overhauled its subscription service and introduced tiers, much like the Xbox Game Pass.
The basic tier, Playstation Plus Essential only offers you 2 free games per month, cloud storage and access to online multiplayer. The Playstation Plus Extra offers you the same benefits as Playstation Essential with access to hundreds of Playstation 4 games in its catalogue. The highest tier, the Playstation Plus Deluxe offers you all the above benefits with access to a catalogue of select PS3, PS2, PSP and PS1 games also.
Apart from this, PlayStation also offers 3 free games every month. December's lineup of free games was appreciated by gamers as it included Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, Biomutant, and Divine Knockout. PlayStation has again offered an amazing free lineup of games this January.
