Dust and damage can build up quickly while exploring the sprawling Mexican map of Forza Horizon 5. Having to constantly pause the game and reset damage is a waste of time if players don't want to see their car in a disheveled state.
It's far quicker to just turn off car damage in Forza Horizon 5 permanently than it is to continuously reset cosmetic damage. This means players are free to smash into as many obstacles as they want, and their car will still look as pretty as the day they got it.
