The world of Fortnite Marvel skins is, like the game itself, ever-expanding. It's to be expected given that Fortnite and Marvel represent two of the biggest brands in video games and movies respectively. There have already been dozens of Marvel-themed in-game outfits, or «skins,» as well as boss battles, easter eggs, and so much more.
Most excitingly, we've apparently only seen the tip of the iceberg with regard to the collaboration potential between Fortnite and Marvel Comics. According to Epic Games chief creative officer Donald Mustard, the Fortnite and Marvel crossovers will continue long into the future, which has been demonstrated time and time again with every passing season.
Even in Chapter 3, Epic Games has made it a point to introduce at least one Marvel character per season. In regards to Chapter 3, Season 2 specifically, fans will soon be able to receive two free Marvel skins in Fortnite if they purchase the Fortnite X Marvel: Zero War comic book series. This series will contain five issues and center around The Seven and other Marvel superheroes. For fans that purchase the series of comics, Epic will reward them with two undisclosed Marvel cosmetics in Fortnite sometime later this summer.
While fans don't know what Marvel skins could be arriving through the comic book series, it's clear that the Fortnite x Marvel universe is still going strong. There also doesn't appear to be any end in sight for this clash of entertainment giants. With every new Marvel cinematic universe film released, it stands to reason Fortnite will release a cosmetic pack centered around the main characters of the movie.
