Rebel Wolves is a new start-up game development studio comprised of industry veterans who have worked on Cyberpunk 2077, Witcher 3, Thronebreaker, and more. It is headed by CEO and Game Director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz as the studio embarks on making a new dark fantasy RPG in Unreal Engine 5.
Announced today via a press release, Rebel Wolves (based in Warsaw, Poland) intends to stand out from the crowd by putting the team first and foremost always. This comes from Tomaszkiewicz and others’ vision to create a studio that did things differently, with the press release emphasizing this team-first philosophy by stating that “a lone wolf may be powerful, but true strength lies in the pack

Notable names involved in Rebel Wolves, which consists of in-house and remote developers, include the aforementioned Tomaszkiewicz (Witcher 3 game director and Cyberpunk 2077 head of production/secondary game director) as well as the following:

The Unreal Engine 5 Dark Fantasy RPG from Rebel Wolves is planned to be the first in a series of AAA story-driven RPGs, on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X. Not much else is known, but above is some concept art associated with the game. On this new title, Szamalek says, “our goal is clearly defined: to create memorable games, tell moving stories, and evoke visceral emotions…I don’t want to create another game. I want to work on titles people will remember.”
