His long career lends his upcoming film with plenty of choices regarding cameos and villain roles.
It’s been confirmed by Van Damme himself that What’s My Name? will be his last action vehicle. Having headlined action and martial arts movies since the late 1980s, the 61-year-old actor will end this chapter in his life with What’s My Name?, a movie where he’ll plan an amnesiac version of himself. Apparently, the plan for What’s My Name? is for it to honor his legacy by featuring moments reminiscent of his most iconic films. This will also call for Van Damme to fight several villains from his previous films. Naturally, this has led to assumptions that the movie will feature some of Van Damme’s best-known co-stars, such as Dolph Lundgren, who fought him in Universal Soldier.
