The Vinegaroon is a rideable Dinosaur Mount in Final Fantasy XIV from the Dravanian Forelands of Dravania. Introduced in Patch 6.1, this Mount is a tyrannosaur-like creature that previously served only as a hostile field mob in the Heavensward expansion yet now can be ridden upon in a domesticated fashion. The Vinegaroon Mount's design features a scaly, grayish appearance equipped with a small covered saddle to provide extra comfort during open-world travel in Final Fantasy XIV.
To get the Vinegaroon Mount in Final Fantasy XIV, Warriors of Light will need to collect currency called Sacks of Nuts. These Nuts are obtained from participating in an activity known as The Hunt and killing Elite Mark targets, specifically in the Shadowbringers and Endwalker expansions. Naturally, each Hunt will be unlocked while completing the expansion's MSQ. However, this activity is considered to be optional, meaning that players will need to complete the correlating side quests to access The Hunt for Endwalker and acquire the Vinegaroon Mount.
