After completing the main story of Final Fantasy 14: Shadowbringers, you will be able to travel to the Bozjan Southern Front, where you will aid the Bozjan Resistance in reclaiming their homelands from the Imperial Legion.

As you complete objectives and rank up in the Front, you will eventually unlock the area's second region, Zadnor. Here, the fight will build up to the final assault on The Dalriada, the Imperial Legion's flagship. The Dalriada is unlocked through the following quest in Gangos. You will need to be Rank 25 in the Bozjan Southern Front before you can undertake this quest.
After accepting this quest, you will need to wait for the Dalriada engagement to appear. It respawns every hour, but completing Critical Engagements in the area will speed up the respawn timer.
The Dalriada can be undertaken by a maximum of 48 players, and you will have a 20-minute time limit to complete the encounter that is increased by 10 minutes each time you defeat a boss.
When you first enter the Dalriada, you will notice Starchaser hoverbikes to the left of the entrance. Up to 8 players can interact with these when the encounter begins to be sent to an alternate first boss that must be defeated alongside the normal first boss. These bosses do not need to be defeated at the same time, but your party should decide beforehand which players will be riding the bikes.
