However, each holiday's story and rewards differ from year to year. This year's All Saints' Wake comes after the past two runs were not featured in the usual way. In 2020, All Saints' Wake was canceled due to COVID-19. However, players were not left completely empty-handed, as a haunted house was made available to explore in light of the missing event. However, the 2021 version was featured in its entirety, with Final Fantasy 14 players waiting till January 2022 to play it. The delay was due to the developers focusing on the release of the Endwalker expansion.

This year's quest theme is «March of the Mischievous Costume Cortege,» and can be started by speaking to the Adventurer's Guild Investigator, located at Mih Khetto's Amphitheatre in Old Gridania, while the holiday is ongoing.
Upon completing the quest, there will be some rewards for Warriors of Light to collect.
