In many ways, Final Fantasy 13-2is the antithesis of its predecessor. Whereas the original Final Fantasy 13 is a fairly linear affair for the majority of its tale, Serah Farron's hit follow-up trades rails for open spaces filled with secrets. Both games excel in their own ways, but getting comfortable with 13-2's meandering style can take some time for players who have grown accustomed to 13's more horizontal traipse across Cocoon.
