Are you as surprised as we are that the trailer for the tenth Fast & Furious franchise film has arrived? Alright, it's technically the eleventh because we absolutely count Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, but still. Two decades ago, there's no way anybody expected to still be making these films--even Vin Diesel--yet here we are. A new film hits theaters on May 19, and we are ready.
The first trailer for Fast X is bound to get you pumped, introducing a slew of new and returning faces from the franchise. In addition to the usual suspects, we see the return of John Cena as Dom's brother Jakob, Cypher (Charlize Theron) causing even more trouble, and newcomers Jason Momoa and Brie Larson.
The trailer introduces Momoa as the villain of the film, which ties directly into Fast 5. Remember when Dom and the gang towed a vault across Rio, squashing everything in its path? What's in that metal ball is anyone's guess, but it can't be good. Oh, and Jakob is driving a car with a rocket launcher built onto it, which is pretty impressive.
Also returning for the film are Helen Mirren as Queenie Shaw, Cardi B as Leysa, and Scott Eastwood as Little Nobody. And, of course, we must remember that the iconic Rita Moreno is joining the cast as Abuelita Toretto--Dom, Jakob, and Mia's grandmother.
