Following the recent reveal of Wiglett for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, one gamer has created a picture that combines it with SpongeBob SquarePants. Wiglett is another new pocket monster coming with the Gen 9 Pokemon games, and it is categorized as a Garden Eel Pokemon. However, its design is apparently reminiscent of another creature seen in one episode of SpongeBob SquarePants.
With its first episode airing back in 1999, Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants has been on television for a long time. Over the years, SpongeBob and his undersea pals have had many strange and hilarious adventures. That being said, one episode that many fans remember fondly is when SpongeBob and Sandy faced off against a giant worm, known as an Alaskan Bull Worm. Recently, one gamer decided to create a unique spin on one of the shots from the episode by incorporating Wiglett.
Pokemon Fan Makes Clay Figure of Scarlet and Violet's Wiglett
This unique crossover art was made by a Reddit user known as TheSnekKing, and it gave a new look to an iconic moment from the SpongeBob SquarePants show. In the image, SpongeBob was crouched behind a rock, looking up at what was supposed to be the Alaskan Bull Worm. However, the Reddit user had altered the image to replace it with a massive Wiglett from the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. Humorously, the Pokemon took up more than half of the screen, staring blankly ahead.
The image edited by TheSnekKing was taken from a Season 2 episode of SpongeBob SquarePants called Sandy, SpongeBob, and the Worm.
