Ever since going free-to-play, Fall Guys has exploded even more in popularity, also becoming accessible on all major platforms rather than just PC and PS4. However, the shift hasn't been without its hiccups, which factors into the nature of attaining Fall Guys' Grandis skin.
Mediatonic's colorful and light-hearted battle royale title featuring a bunch of costumed bumbling beans has seen an immense player spike since launching for free. Fall Guys saw 20 million players in its first 48 hours of re-launch, which quickly brought to attention a major issue with the game's item shop.

The issue with the Fall Guys item shop was that players were automatically purchasing cosmetics simply by viewing them. Many who reported the issue complained of Mediatonic doing little to resolve the problem, eventually leading to a public apology by the developers.
In order to remedy the situation, Mediatonic is giving everyone the Grandis skin for free. Everyone who has a Fall Guys account will automatically get the new skin delivered to their inventory. The fix also includes refunds for any Fall Guys purchases made since June 21.
The Grandis skin appears to be a variant of the hilarious Long Guy skin, introduced at the beginning of 2022. The cosmetic features the same elongated profile, albeit with an extra feature.
Fall Guys' Grandis skin is one of the game's few color-changing skins, adapting to whatever color scheme a player has selected. The Grandis skin is classified in the Legendary category, making the free cosmetic quite the pick-up.
