Yesterday, Mark Zuckerberg opened the Facebook Connect 2021 event by announcing the parent company is changing its name from Facebook to Meta, but the Facebook social media platform will retain its original branding. The news came after weeks of speculation following the revelation of Facebook's new corporate logo.
