Evil Dead: The Game is continuing to make strange choices for its new playable characters and is adding the unnamed blacksmith from Army of Darkness in the game's "Hail to the King" update coming later this month.
Just a few months after adding Mia and David from the 2013 Evil Dead reboot, Saber has confirmed the next character coming to the game, and it's a pretty surprising choice - Army of Darkness' unnamed blacksmith. The blacksmith doesn't have a name, only has a few lines of dialogue, and doesn't appear much in the movie, so it's a bit of a surprising choice, although less so when you remember that another minor character from Army of Darkness is a demon boss in the game.

The Evil Dead: The Game Twitter account shared a brief video of the blacksmith, along with the caption, "I’ll stand by ye! The Blacksmith arrives this October as part of the Hail to the King update. The Blacksmith is included in Season Pass 1. Keep your eyes peeled for more news about the update."
Although the announcement of a new character is exciting, what's arguably even more noteworthy here is the mention of the "Hail to the King" update coming at some point during this month, which is the first time that a new update has been mentioned since David and Mia were revealed. Nothing else was announced for the update just yet, but it's possible that a new demon boss or map will be added alongside the blacksmith.
