Over the last 40 years,Warhammer 40,000 has continued to grow exponentially, in just about every way possible. More model kits are released annually than ever before, the tabletop game is in its 9th edition, being bigger than ever before, and the Warhammer 40,000 brand now stretches across all types of media, from board games to novels to animation to video games. Warhammer 40K video games aren't anything new, with classics like Dawn of War releasing almost two decades ago, but there seems to be more 40K video games releasing every year, and the recent Warhammer Skulls Showcase just cements this idea further.
On June 1, Games Workshop held a showcase specifically catered towards the video game side of the brand. Along with offering a behind-the-scenes look at the highly anticipated Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 and giving fans an in-depth look at Darktide's story Games Workshop also announced three brand new Warhammer 40,000 titles that will take the IP into a few different gaming genres.

Named after the brutal in-universe weapon of the Space Marines, capable of firing a burning hot round that rips apart organs in milliseconds, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun looks just as violent and relentless as its namesake.
