There have been reports that Elon Musk has offered a teenager $5,000 in an attempt to get them to remove a Twitter account which has been tracking his private jet's movements and posting them to Twitter. According to Protocol, the teenager in question was approached by Musk via Twitter DM with a plea to take down the account as he believes it poses a "security risk".
When it was revealed how much money the social media account made the teenager, Musk allegedly offered them $5,000 to remove it. The teenager then swiftly hit back with a counter-offer, telling Musk to multiply his offer by ten to get him to remove the account. There's no news whether Musk has given in to the teen's demands or has simply decided his money isn't worth it.

Surprisingly, this teenager isn't only tracking Elon Musk, but is also tracking the flight data for planes owned by Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos as well. These other billionaires haven't come into contact with the teen, but Musk's desire to remove the Twitter account tracking his plane is likely because of how popular it is. Elon Musk's Jet has over 103,000 followers and is climbing rapidly, so it's understandable that Musk might not want to his potential location readily available to all those randos.
You may be questioning the legality of the situation, but there's not much Musk can do in terms of the law. The Twitter profile is simply using public information that anyone can find on the ADS-B Exchange, an open source of unfiltered flight data that is supposed to be used by "enthusiasts."
