With the advancement in technology, we can easily control smartphones, laptops, and smart devices with our voice like with Amazon Alexa or Siri. But what if we could control our devices with our brains with just a thought? Or communicate with other humans just by thinking and not saying anything? Well, that’s possible! Elon Musk led Neuralink is looking at making that possible by connecting the human brain directly to devices without interacting physically or by voice control. This is basically a 'brain-computer interface' which allows users to transmit and receive information between the wireless device and brain.
The Neuralink chip initially aims at the technology that will be to help people with paralysis to regain independence through the control of computers and mobile devices. This technology is designed to give people the ability to communicate more easily via text or speech synthesis, to follow their curiosity on the web, or to express their creativity through photography, art, or writing apps without even using it physically.
The ultimate goal will be to just think about it, and your devices will work. Sounds like magic, right? Let's see how it will work.
Elon Musk led Neuralink chip 'Link' will connect with the thousands of neurons in the brain, which will be able to record the activity of these neurons in real-time and will send the information to the Link. As the user will think about moving hands or fingers, the Link will decode this information which will be sent to the user's devices via Bluetooth. That means the users will need to connect the chip with the Bluetooth devices, which will allow charging also.
The Link is the first step toward a new type of brain interface. Which will be able to access more brain
