A few months have gone by since rumors began to circulate that the next era of Dungeons and Dragons was much closer than originally anticipated. Whether that next evolution will come in the form of DnD 5.5, DnD 6.0, or just additional rule books with optional changes to the core system is still unclear. That said, players may be learning a little bit more next week during the upcoming D&D Direct.
