Word on the street is that the sequel to the Detective Pikachu video game is close to wrapping up development.
Pokemon fans may be surprised at this news, because although a new Detective Pikachu game for the Nintendo Switch was announced three years ago, virtually nothing has been said about it since.
One could be forgiven for thinking it was quietly canceled, but not so. Evidently it still exists, and it sounds like it may be coming soon.Not to be confused with the 2019 live-action film adaptation starring Ryan Reynolds, Detective Pikachu was released for the Nintendo 3DS in 2016 in Japan before seeing a global launch two years later.
