Bungie has big changes in store for December's Destiny 2 update. Easily the biggest will be fundamental to how players build characters and play the game.
In the 30th Anniversary update, Bungie is changing the way cooldowns are handled in Destiny 2 by implementing a new system that allows them to tune abilities in both PvP and PvE. Abilities will generally have longer cooldowns and do less damage in PvP arenas, but can do more damage and in some cases have shorter cooldowns in PvE.
