Although it is not the intended way to play Destiny 2 according to Bungie, players have been finding ways to farm for gear, experience, or both with little-to-no effort since the early days of its release. Bungie does not send out bans for this practice because it doesn't go against the Terms of Service for Destiny 2, but the company does try to discourage this approach because it wants the game to be played actively to fully enjoy the experience. Still, players found ways to do this even after Bungie nerfed previous go-to spots for AFK, and a great example of this logic is the Thrallway section of the Shattered Throne Dungeon.
The Thrallway has been one of the most desirable locations for players to grind out experience, bounties, and even Exotic catalysts, but it was changed with the launch of The Witch Queen to be less effective at all that. This didn't make players stop searching for the perfect AFK farm spot, and a recent video from a Destiny 2 content creator highlights as much.

The video was shared by YouTuber selFu, and it shows how players can farm hundreds of Neutral Elements and tons of weapon levels per hour, all with a little help from a basic macro. selFu explains that all Destiny 2 players need to do is to equip their Void subclass and pick Echo of Starvation for Devour on Orb of Power pickup, Echo of Persistence for increased Devour duration, a Siphon mod for Orb of Power generation, and then head to the Moon. Here, players will want to access the In the Deep mission, which is the tenth step of the Shadowkeep campaign, and immediately take the Cryptoglyph near the spawn.
After that, players will need to defeat the two Acolytes on top
