The charming indie title Tchia is coming to PS5 and PS4 in Spring, and the more we see of it, the more we look forward to this serene adventure game. Like other games developed in a post-Breath of the Wild world, physics-based locomotion and stamina-restricted climbing are at the core of exploration in Tchia.
Use palm trees to slingshot yourself into the air and your glider to gently come back down… or miscalculate and find yourself crashing back to earth. Interestingly, players will not be able to add waypoints to the map; instead, you must learn the local geography for yourself and engage closely with your surroundings.
In addition to regular jumping, Tchia is capable of soul-jumping, which will allow her to inhabit the form of animals and objects in the game world. It all looks like some wild fun, and we can't wait to see some of the inevitable compilation clips post-launch that catalogue all of the physics shenanigans that go on.
What do you think of Tchia so far and of its interesting blend of traversal mechanics? Sail on down to the comments section below.
This looks awesome but NGL no map marker is really going to annoy many people, especially if there’s a lot of collectibles in the game.
Ive been looking forward to this one for a long time now, soul jumping looks fun! Glad its not too far away, though I notice there is no preorder?
Looks like a lot of charm and fun.
Heard good things about this

..and there's me hoping its a PSN essential freebie
@Titntin with Sony… NEVER!
@SamMR Well, that's not strictly true is it? 'Stray' was such a title..
