A recent PlayStation trailer for the upcoming remake of Dead Space listed PS4 alongside PS5, sparking some speculation it might arrive on both generations. A new report indicates that was a mistake, however.
According to Eurogamer, the trailer listing both PlayStation platforms is “a mistake,” as the outlet understands. The original listing for PS4 obviously stirred up some rampant speculation that this might turn out to be a PS4 game as well.
While this trailer is still online as of this writing, it no longer lists PS4 in the title as it previously did. Looks like Dead Space is still aiming for just the newer generation.
The Dead Space remake is being handled by Electronic Arts’ Motive studio, which previously worked on games like Star Wars Battlefront II and Star Wars Squadrons.
