Partnering with series creator Behaviour Interactive, board game publisher Level 99 has announced Dead by Daylight: The Board Game, which will offer a new way to play the hit asymmetrical multiplayer experience. Behaviour Interactive clearly boasts big plans for the brand going forward, evidenced by a recently filed trademark that suggests a Dead by Daylight dating sim is in the works. Dead by Daylight originally launched on PC in 2016, before migrating to PlayStation and Xbox consoles the following year. Behaviour Interactive has since ported the multiplayer title to several other platforms, including Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS devices. Its core premise of a deranged killer stalking a group of survivors seems to be resonating with millions upon millions of players worldwide. In some part, Dead by Daylight's brand crossovers with the likes of Ringu, Hellraiser, and Stranger Things keeps users coming back for more, though Behaviour Interactive has internally created quite a few formidable horror villains in its own right.
