By now, the issues that caused Cyberpunk 2077 to fall woefully short of expectations are well known. CD Projekt Red's ambition was beyond the capabilities of the studio, a too-short schedule for the size of the project was planned, and working conditions were employed that punished developers with endless crunch.
The result was a broken Cyberpunk 2077 with missing features and content still absent over a year later. Where CD Projekt Red faltered, however, modders have stepped up.
