A game as diverse as Skyrim has many different armor pieces and sets, but there are cool armors available to the Dragonborn that they may not have tried yet. Some of the more popular armor sets are craftable by the Dragonborn, which have the ability to be enchanted to enhance the armor's power. Other armor pieces already have magic enchantments that boost specific skills.
Despite the variety in Skyrim's fashion, there are some armor sets that players tend to gravitate toward. A Dragonborn who wears Heavy Armor will go for Skyrim’s crafted Daedric gear or Dragonbone, while a thief character may rely solely on the Thieves Guild or the Nightingale armor. These sets are fine and have stats that benefit the players; consider them faithful and reliable armor pieces.

However, sometimes players will want to change their attire and wear something new, something they have never worn before. Whether it is a matching armor set or single pieces thrown together, there are options available to the Dragonborn. And there is a chance that the Dragonborn has never tried out these more obscure or interesting armor options before.
The Grey Cowl is a Daedric artifact claimed to have been stolen from Nocturnal and worn by every Thieves Guild leader. It was featured in Oblivion during the Grey Fox and Thieves Guild quest, but with the release of Skyrim Anniversary Edition, the Grey Cowl is back in the game. The quest “The Grey Cowl of Nocturnal” begins in the Riften cemetery, and by the end, the Dragonborn will be rewarded with the famous cowl.
