Control is the latest release from the developer Remedy Entertainment, which is famous for creating the iconic Max Payne series. The studio is also currently working on a highly anticipated sequel to Alan Wake which is scheduled for release at some point in 2023. This sequel was teased as part of a DLC add-on for Control called AWE, which, along with the Foundation DLC and the complete campaign of Control itself, make up the Control Ultimate Edition.
Control received positive reviews upon release and won over 80 awards. It was praised for its fun gameplay, and unique setting in The Oldest House, which is a mind-bending and ever shifting labyrinth that is designed to look like a bureaucratic office building.

AT&T has provided this offer before with Batman: Arkham Knight and hopes to set a precedent that will see more developers offering free timed demos of games which will utilize AT&T’s 5G network. Game streaming is becoming an increasingly prevalent way to play major titles, and it does benefit from the fact that it doesn't require any downloads, but companies like Microsoft claim streaming will not soon take priority over console and PC gaming.
