Congestion issues continue in Final Fantasy 14

eurogamer.netFinal Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida has once again apologised for congestion since the launch of Endwalker.
The latest expansion for the game, Endwalker was released in early access on 3rd December and officially released 7th December. Players have experienced hours long queue times to get into the game.

Final Fantasy XIV sales paused because game is too popular
Square Enix has announced that it is pausing sales of Final Fantasy XIV while it waits for server congestion to die down after the release of the latest expansion, titled Endwalker. It's the second time the company has had to do so in 2021.
