Interestingly, the concept video re-imagines the original God of War to be more in-line with the style presented by the 2018 God of War game and the upcoming God of War Ragnarok. One of the most obvious ways this is accomplished is by using a camera angle that is very similar to the one seen in the newer God of War titles, as opposed to the more pull-back view used in the original God of War games.
While a God of War remake is not in development, the good news is that most of the series is readily accessible on PlayStation's latest hardware, available to play on both PS4 and PS5.
