Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2's PC specs just dropped, and those looking to get into Warzone 2 without an upgrade will be happy to note your current rig will survive for another game--at least, for now. Activision notes that the PC requirements might change over the course of Modern Warfare 2's lifespan, as is the case for most live-service games.
The minimum PC specs are surprisingly low. You could manage to squeak into Modern Warfare 2 with an Intel Core i3-6100, 8 GB of RAM, and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 960. Note that fancy graphics options like ray tracing, DLSS, or FSR will require a more modern graphics card such as the RTX 30-series or Radeon RX 5000-series.
Activision is clearly going for the highest possible user count by optimizing Modern Warfare 2 for lower hardware. That's in distinct contrast to Gotham Knights, which is forgoing previous-gen consoles in favor of the current-gen PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. This has also raised the minimum requirements for Gotham Knights to need a GTX 1660 Ti or an AMD Radeon
