BPSC recruitment 2022: 40506 teacher posts available- Application deadline extended; know how to apply

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has extended the online application deadline for the recruitment of Head Teacher in Primary Schools under the Education Department, Govt. of Bihar. Earlier, the application window was supposed to be closed on April 22, however, it has been further extended till May 2 while the corrections can be made from April 29 to May 9. Eligible candidates who have not applied yet can do the same on the official website onlinebpsc.bihar.gov.in within the closure date. As many as 40,506 vacancies are announced for the post of Head Teacher out of which 13,761 posts are reserved for female candidates. Age Limit: The applicants must not exceed the age of 60 years as on August 1, 2021.

Educational Qualification: The candidates must hold a degree of graduation or equivalent from any recognized university with at least 50% marks. Applicants should also have qualified D.El.Ed/B.T/B.Ed./B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed/B.L.Ed. Do note that the degree of 'Aalim' obtained from Maulana Mazharul Haque Arbi & Persian University, Patna/Bihar State Madarsa Education Board, and the degree of Shastri from Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga Sanskrit University will be considered equivalent to graduation.

Other eligibility requirement: The applicants must possess a minimum of 8 years of regular service as basic grade teacher of Panchayat Elementary teacher/Urban Elementary Teacher under Panchayat Raj Institutions and urban Local Body Institutions.
