The trailer for the movie that is set to wrap up the MCU’s Phase Four is finally out after the first official preview for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was revealed on the San Diego Comic-Con stage. In it, Marvel takes an emotional turn to commemorate the passing of Chadwick Boseman while still setting up the conflict between the African nation and the kingdom of Atlantis.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever ended up closing a busy night for Marvel Studios, where many announcements were made, such as the arrival of Daredevil two years from now, and two new Avengers movies for Phase Six, but She-Hulk and Black Panther were the only ones to get proper footage. While Nope star Daniel Kaluuya recently confirmed his absence from the film,Black Panther 2 already showcased practically the entirety of its returning cast, as well as a few surprises.

The opening shot focuses on Nakia, who like all of Wakanda is mourning King T’Challa as a beautiful rendition of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry” introduces viewers to the people closest to the Black Panther, like Shuri, Okoye, and Queen Ramonda. The song definitely helps set the tone for what was always meant to be a special occasion before cutting to a piece of Atlantean history showing the birth of Prince Namor and a single shot fixed on Boseman’s face depicted in the streets of Wakanda.
