Avowed is reportedly on track to release in early 2023, according to an insider.
We've not heard all that much about Avowed since its announcement over a year ago, but an Obsidian take on a format similar to The Elder Scrolls is an exciting prospect. Despite the fact that we've only seen one CG trailer and we haven't heard anything it about it since its initial reveal, it's apparently not too far from release.

As pointed out on the GamingLeaksAndRumours subreddit, Windows Central's Jez Corden went on the World of Gaming podcast to talk about Xbox's upcoming slate of games. During the podcast, Corden talks about Avowed, giving more details on the footage he saw and revealing the release window that it's aiming for.
"Well, honestly, the footage I saw of the game was from all the way back in May or April, so almost a year old. To me, it looked pretty damn great - playable and ready to go, frankly... I expect we'll see that game this year, because as I said it looked pretty damn ready. There I think we'll probably see the game revealed this year and the launch Q1/ Q2 2023 maybe. I was super impressed with it."
Interestingly, this date lines up pretty closely with the GeForce leaks that said that Avowed would be releasing in late 2022. If you consider the impact that the pandemic has had, this timeframe makes sense. It would also line up pretty closely with the time between The Outer Worlds' announcement and its eventual release. Corden compares the scope of Avowed with The Outer Worlds, so it would make sense to follow similar roadmaps.
It's worth noting that this is just a planned release date and could easily be shifted around as we see more of the game.
