Wordle is a simple-to-play word puzzle game that went viral earlier this year. From Vice Presidents to NBA players like Karl-Anthony Towns tweeting about Wordle, everyone seemed to be playing it. However, those new to the game might want a little, or a lot of, help.
Wordle was a massive success in the early parts of 2022. It is a simple word puzzle game that pits players against a mystery five-letter word every day. Without any clues, players have to begin to guess what the answer could be. This game is currently owned and hosted by the New York Times Games, and it is still currently free-to-play and doesn't require a login, though this may change in the coming months.

In order to play, head to the Wordle website. Then choose a starting word; it should be five letters long, a real English word, and contain a good array of commonly used letters in Wordle puzzles. Type this chosen word into the website and press enter, then watch the letters of the chosen word change colors.
Keep trying new words and getting new clues from the colors of their letters until there are no more tries or players guess the answer correctly. Each word gets a total of six tries before losing. There is only one Wordle word per day, so players will have to wait until midnight local time to play a new one.
After completing the puzzle of the day, the menu will pop up on the screen. This menu contains all the player's stats as well as a spoiler-free share button. Using the share button will copy just the colors of the squares of the puzzle to post on social media. While there has been a decline in players since the New York Times bought Wordle, there are still many out there who may not want the word of the day spoiled for them.
