Asus has announced a trio of Expert Series laptops aimed at business users who no longer spend their days sitting in an office.
The PC maker will be showing off the Windows 11 Pro ExpertBook B5, ExpertBook B5 Flip, and ExpertBook B6 Flip at the IFA trade show being held in Berlin from Sept. 2-6.
The ExpertBook B5(Opens in a new window) is the lightest 16-inch laptop Asus has made (about 3 pounds). The 16:10 display is also available with an OLED panel, and the highest spec available utilizes an Intel Core i7-1270P vPro processor, up to 40GB of RAM, and an Intel Arc 350M GPU. Asus is also promising up to 13.5 hours of battery life, up to 2TB of SSD storage across two drives with RAID support, enterprise-grade security, and US military-grade durability.
The ExpertBook B5 Flip(Opens in a new window) differentiates itself from the B5 by allowing the display to rotate 360 degrees as well as being the first 16-inch laptop to feature a garaged stylus complete with automatic charging. The stylus can be used for up to 45 minutes with just a 15-second charge. The top spec matches that of the B5.
Whereas the B5 models are built to be lightweight and flexible, the ExpertBook B6 Flip(Opens in a new window) is a high-end mobile workstation, which Asus refers to as a "multithreading powerhouse." It uses a flippable 16-inch touch screen that takes advantage of miniLED to offer up to 1,000 nits of brightness.
