While some still hold up the earlier games as the best in the series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the most commercially successful Assassin’s Creed game. The most recent Assassin’s Creed title shattered franchise records and was the first Ubisoft game to earn $1 billion for the French publisher.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has enjoyed a generally positive post-release period, with developers now rolling out the next major update for its popular Viking-themed action RPG. Ubisoft deployed Title Update 1.5.2 at 12 PM UCT or 7 AM Eastern/4 AM Pacific. The patch varies in size from about 7.8 GB on Xbox Consoles down to 1.4 GB on PS4 and introduces a variety of new content and bug fixes.
Assassin’s Creed Origins Next-Gen Upgrade Could Be Coming Soon
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s biggest new feature is the armory building and customization loadout, which Ubisoft teased in April. Players can construct a new Armory building at Ravensthorpe after upgrading the settlement to level 3. The construction costs Foreign Cargo, which players can capture from River Raids. Once built, the Armory lets them create up to five custom equipment loadouts they can swap between on the fly. This allows Valhalla players to create a custom build that benefits specific playstyles and quickly alternate between them as needed. Players unlock the first two loadout slots when they build the Armory and the other three after upgrading it further.
Players will also be able to fill up their Armory with more new gear implemented in Title Update 1.5.2. The update introduces new rewards to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s River Raids.
