Ubisoft has finally revealed Assassin's Creed Project Red and Project Hexe, two standalone experiences that will be part of the live-service title Infinity. Project Red will be set in feudal Japan, though we didn't get a setting for Project Hexe. However, leaks from earlier this week have claimed that the "experience" will take place during the witch trials in 16th Century Europe.
We also got some more details on Assassin's Creed Infinity itself, as the title won't be a traditional game. Instead, Infinity will be a hub for future Assassin's Creed titles, connecting multiple games from across the franchise, although it's unkown as to whether this will include past titles. Ubisoft also talked about creating a new multiplayer mode for the franchise, so it's possible Infinity could be a hub for this as well.

While Ubisoft probably would've liked these announcements to stay as a surprise, the titles were leaked earlier this week via their codenames - Project Hexes and Project Red. The latter had actually been rumored for quite a while, having actually leaked way back in July in a report from Bloomberg's Jason Schreier. Much less is known about Project Hexe, although the game's title does translate to "Witch" in German, which might mean the game will be set in 16th Century Germany if the leaks are accurate.
