Arkane has released a new Redfall trailer which serves as an introduction to its upcoming game.
The trailer, which is viewable below, outlines the key features of the next game from the studio behind Prey and Dishonored.
Redfall is a story-driven, open-world FPS which is playable solo or with a team of up to four-players in co-op.
It sees players battling to defeat a legion of vampires who have cut the island town of Redfall off from the outside world.
“A huge emphasis for Redfall has been the solo experience, in keeping with Arkane’s passions,” Arkane Austin studio and creative director Harvey Smith said in a blog published to accompany the new trailer.
“Redfall is an open world game, but it can be soloed with any of the heroes. The pace becomes more exploratory; you can use recon and stealth to gather info on encounters and avoid enemies or get the drop on them.”
Arkane revealed the first Redfall gameplay with a six-minute video which was used to open the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase earlier this month.
In May, publisher Bethesda delayed the Redfall and Starfield release dates from this year to 2023.
“We’ve made the decision to delay the launches of Redfall and Starfield to the first half of 2023,” it said.
“The teams at Arkane Austin (Redfall) and Bethesda Game Studios (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games, and we want to ensure that you receive the best, most polished versions of them.
“We want to thank everyone for their excitement for Redfall and Starfield. That energy is a huge part of what inspires all of us every day and drives our own excitement for what we are creating,” it added.
