Apex Legends PS5 & Xbox Series X|S Versions Launch During Warriors Collection Event
is finally stepping up to current consoles by releasing natively on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. The popular battle royale game has survived on updates from the previous generation’s half-step consoles and now offers a serious graphical boost to owners of the latest gaming hardware. If that wasn’t enough, fans have brand new cosmetics to secure in the Warriors Collection Event.
Starting today, players can download a new update that will give the 2019 game the features players expect from new AAA releases. This includes 4K output at 60 frames per second, HDR where supported, and a larger draw distance to let players see farther onto the huge battlegrounds of the Apex Games. Xbox Series S players will get 60 frames per second at a reduced 1080p, while everyone else will get the full upgrade.
